What I collect from you
What you send me by email: usually your name, email address, company and your question. Nothing else. This site sets no tracking cookies.
Why, and on what basis
To answer you and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal (steps before a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). To keep a record of our correspondence (my legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who else receives it
Only providers acting on my behalf: Google (email) and Cloudflare (hosting of this site). Some of them may process data outside the EU, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses. I do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
Visitor statistics
I count visits with a tool that uses no cookies and stores no personal profile. The hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site.
How long I keep it
Up to 24 months after our last contact, or until you ask me to delete it. Invoices and contracts are kept for as long as Romanian accounting and tax law requires.
The newsletter
The Romania Health Market Brief is published on LinkedIn. Your subscription is managed there, under LinkedIn's privacy terms.
If you are a professional named in my research
My work for clients may record professional information about people in their professional role: name, position, employer, professional contact details and public professional activity. It comes from public registers, company websites, published sources and professional meetings. I use it for market research for my clients, on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). I do not record private life, health or other sensitive data. It is passed to a client only under a data processing agreement. I keep it while it is professionally current, and review it at least every 24 months. You can ask me what I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its use at any time: catalin@calinoiu.com.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and a complaint to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro). Write to catalin@calinoiu.com; I reply within one month.
